My-UI-Financials Questions

Why do I see payroll expenses when I view details but not when I'm on the All Funds page?

Answer: This is due to a timing difference. The information for the payroll details comes from the payroll system and will appear a day before the information on the All Funds page, which comes from the finance system.

What is the budget balance available column?

Answer: This column is a calculation: budget - expenses - encumbrances. A desirable budget balance is a positive number.

Why is the budget balance not accurate for self-supporting funds?

Answer: Revenue is not included as a column in the All Funds page. In a future enhancement, there will be a Self-Supporting tab that will include revenue.

How current is the information I'm seeing in My-UI-Financials?

Answer: The information for the current fiscal period is one day old.

How can I tell if the information has been updated today?

Answer: The data in the My-UI-Financials dashboard should be updated no later than 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. To check data availability, go to the DS System Status & Availability page for the Finance Data Mart.
