Illinois Contract System (iCS)

The Illinois Contract System (iCS) is the University of Illinois' web-based contract management system. University contracts may be developed, routed, reviewed, approved, and executed within iCS. It also serves as the electronic repository for all fully executed University contracts.

This "iCS Resource Page" is designed to provide resources to use iCS effectively.

Getting Started

Contract Routing

Contracts are routed for review, approvals, and signatures in iCS using Checklists. Click on the links below to access job aids for selecting and applying checklists, assigning tasks to others, and managing the task from other users.

Executive Approvers (Unit Heads, Deans, Directors, VP's, Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, AVP's)

In iCS, users with a role of unit head, or higher, are referred to as "Executive Approvers." In this section, you will find links to training and job aids specific to Executive Approvers.
