2nd Annual Professional Services Diversity Symposium

Professional Services Diversity Symposium Overview

Message from Michael B. Bass, Senior Associate Vice President and Deputy Comptroller, OBFS, University Administration

President Robert A. Easter is asking University Vice Presidents, Business Managers and Buyers with responsibilities for various professional services procurement to support our 2nd Annual Professional Services Diversity Symposium. The Symposium will provide a platform for diverse professional service firms to present their capabilities to key internal staff. The intent of this outreach initiative is to build relationships that may lead to procurement opportunities that meet the University's needs. The 2nd Annual Professional Services Diversity Symposium will be key to increase spend with diverse firms.

The Symposium will consist of you and/or key members of your staff registering for and attending the presentations by diverse firms, followed by a reception to network with representatives of these professional service firms. The 2nd Annual Professional Services Diversity Symposium will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

President Easter is committed to this initiative as it represents a clear demonstration of our core value of inclusiveness in economic development with a focus on excellence.
