Department Card Managers (DCM) and Delegate Training

The DCM training is a webinar and includes:

  • Reviewing the card programs' requirements, policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and initiating corrective actions if transactions are inappropriate or inconsistent with policies and procedures
  • Requesting new cards, and modifying/cancelling existing cards

Employees who have been or will be assigned the role of DCM or delegate by their Department Head may register for DCM Training at OBFS Training Course Registration. To register, the employee selects OBFS Webinar Training Events (All Campuses), and "UNIVERSITY PAYABLES CARD SERVICES: Department Card Manager (DCM) for Purchasing Card (P-Card) and Travel Card (T-Card)".

DCMs and their authorized delegate(s) are strongly encouraged to view the T-Card Solution (TCS) system webinar and complete the TCS Certification Quiz before using the system.  DCMs and their authorized delegate(s) will be given access to the TCS after UPAY Card Services verifies completion of the DCM requirements.

Note: TCS does not provide access to Cardholder transactions information.  A DCM must be assigned as a Creator Proxy by a Cardholder in the Travel and Expense Management (TEM) system in order to view transaction history.  The TEM system is used for reviewing, submitting and approving T-Card transactions.  DCMs can also use Decision Support Tools to generate reports on T-Card spending.
