Proposal Development (PD)
Proposal Development (PD) module feeds pre-award information into the PT module. Combined with SPIN, PD offers users a fully integrated method of searching for funding, creating a proposal, and routing it electronically for internal approvals. Currently, PD supports NIH funding mechanisms according to the NIH planned transition dates for electronic submissions through Grants.gov. This module continues to be developed by the vendor to support electronic submissions as they are mandated by the Federal Government.
A phased rollout of the PD module to the University community began July 1, 2007 and focuses on vendor supported electronic system to system submissions.
