Tax Compliance and Analysis

The goal of the University Tax Compliance is to review and recommend policy to ensure that the University of Illinois is in compliance with all appropriate tax and related laws.

The goal shall be accomplished by providing the following services and support to the University’s three campuses and its administrative units for tax related issues:

• Providing consultation when assistance is required;
• Identifying, assessing, and documenting issues;
• Analyzing and recommending resolutions;
• Developing and implementing appropriate standardized policies and procedures to ensure compliance;
• Remaining current with all new and changed laws; and
• Ensuring the accuracy and validity of all information distributed.
