Update an Existing Asset in FABweb

Before You Begin

When the attributes of an asset change, its asset record in FABweb must be updated promptly. Before you can do this, you must have access to FABweb.

Begin

To update an existing asset in FABweb:

  1. Log on to FABweb. Select "Update an Existing Banner Fixed Assets."
  2. Enter the PTag for the asset.
  3. Update the information as you continue through the FABweb tabs. Confirm that the entity code is correct. If it is not correct, submit the Entity Code Change Request form.
  4. View the asset record in Banner to confirm it has been updated.
